Torstar Printing Group plants support responsible forestry, awarded Chain of Custody certification for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI)

The Tempo plant is pleased to announce they have been successfully audited by SGS International resulting in a dual chain of custody certification by both Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). We can now count the endorsement of these widely respected certification bodies as another milestone in our dedication to sustainable growth. While broadcasting our own commitment to responsible forestry, this will give our customers the means to showcase their own decision to make better choices for the environment.

Earlier this year, our Central Ontario Web plant successfully completed their annual FSC surveillance audit by SGS International, verifying this division continues to meet the requirements for FSC certification.
